This interview left me scratching my head - How can such a moron make such a film? I've seen the trailer which in itself is froth with inaccuracies but it does appear to capture the shear intensity of Chess's greatest champion, accurately.
Intellectually, this Chapa fellow betrays a comfort zone better suited for Checkers than Chess, so it will be interesting to see how he pulls it off.
BUT- Why would he play the part? Bobby was tall & awkward, Chapa is just...there. It will be interesting.

I'd like to see any movie about Fischer but Chapa didn't research him enough. Look at 1:40 of the trailer, Fischer plays 1. d4 after shaking the second guy's hand.
Fischer NEVER opened with 1. d4, he even said so in his book My 60 Memorable Games.
