Hey, How are you, we havent chatted since the World Series. Well, My daughter and I went to the Rays Home Opener last night, and We caught the ball Carlos Pena hit for a Grand Slam.

Hey, i didn't think you remember me lol that is great, i have bad news though, i moved to Ohio =( so now i can't watch the Rays all the time, i went to the Reds game against the Pirates this past saturday. They lost though lol no one is as good as the Rays, man i miss going to their games =(

I saw Perez in a game in Phoenix in 2006. It was the first time going to a summer/minor leage baseball game. This was my first experience to a live game also...at age 39.

After the game, he began signing and tossing items back and forth from the field to the stands. He noticed my curiousity, smiled and tossed his white batting glove towards me. I grabbed it in amazement and said "Mr. Perez, could you sign it for me? Please.". He smiled, I tossed, he signed and tossed it back! :-)

I don't know why, but that game was more intense than game 7 - Rays needed that 1st home game win.

I had never been to Tampa before and was visiting from DC wearing a Skins hat. I liked the Sh_t I caught for wearing that hat. This was an incredible game. This game was as good as it gets.
