Thanks for comparision!
Don´t you have it in wav or (good mp3) quallity?
MPC 500 has dope-bass-wet..."Akai sound", Korg is sharp....

can you put 1 full track on the mpc 500 and assign it to 1 pad? Also can you load multiple tracks to the mpc 500 and assign them to different pads? I have a 16 gigabyte card and I would like to do this.

How many FX can you run at once on the MPC? More than the Korg I think no?

@aikighost MPC - 2, Korg - 1 as I remember. But I hated MPC'c chorus - couldn't get it sound right, it sounded like a chewed tape. But you can load processed stereo samples into MPC and forget it. Korg is more intuitive, and has more solid lo-fi sound (cause it has 32 kHz DA converters)

thank you for this comparision, i always thought the mpc has better A/D converters. But it seems the electribe is good like the mpc in terms of sound quality. But i got a question, in your demonstration every machine is playing with their own sequencer right, cuz i have the feeling the mpc is tighter.

@TR0jAX Yes, every machine plays it's own sequencer.

The kick drum on MPC doesn't differ that much, probably a compression issue...
