  • Wouldn't you be better off putting the onion in a large ziplock bag and then shaking it with the flour mixture? Just saying might be easier.

  • @johnchang7 it might break the petals. before you fry it, the petals are crisp and very fragile. try it, if it works for you GREAT!

  • This looks easier than I thought it would be. Adding flour, buttermilk/eggs, and then the seasonings and then refrigerating for awhile before frying is the ticket. Please do a sauce video as soon as possible for you kinda need it to go with the Onion Blossom. Please let me know when you have posted it for I will be eagerly awaiting it.

  • @khataroo ah! i'm not sure if i'll be making a video about a sauce to go with it. if you like spicy food, try combining mayo, sharacha and some lemon juice=amazing w/ the blooming onion

  • u sound asian

  • @heavyhitter242424 good observation! do i not look asian as well?

    -1/8 tsp garlic poder

  • Thank you!it helped alot!!!(:

  • Aragon....Do you mean Taragon or no?

  • @piyopiyoQ this person's a genius.

  • @piyopiyoQ would definitely benefit by using larger bowls for the dredging and battering. Also, if you let the onion sit in ice water after cutting for a bit before dredging, it will open the onion up. (this is a garnish trick for blooming vegetable flowers) And lastly, glass cutting boards are terrible on your knife.

  • @piyopiyoQ hahaha, ignorant people. I was craving one of these great tutorial I'll make it tomo night!

  • @piyopiyoQ lol yea but even if i didnt see you...you just have that asian voice

  • @piyopiyoQ That's cool, no worries. I'll try what you suggested. Take care.
