Lyrics: (Thanks to all who helped decipher lyrics-even though maddy wyatt's video supplies all of them ;))
mama, i'm in love
i know he's kinda skinny
but i just can't help it
he's preachin' something new
he's callin' every night
and askin' me to fight the fight with him
for freedom
it's a dreamy point of view
he believes in honesty and tax cuts for the poor
and i don't think i'm gonna lack a leader anymore
barack obama
his truth will set you free
barack obama
mama, he's the man for me
the senator from illinois
was once a little boy in honolulu
pomaika i'no, kamaha' o
it's the sunlight on the surf
that showed him what he's really worth
and gave him faith in the audacity of hope
his policy on greehouse gas is
totally the best
his daddy came from kenya
and his mom from the midwest
barack obama
his truth will set you free
barack obama
mama, he's the man for me
mr. lincoln let me curl up
on that momumental lap
can you hear me, i am callin' out to you
you might think a girl from texas would take pride in recognizin'
that the country once again is split in two
but i've been in this red state feelin' blue
ba-ba-ba-ba-bara-bara-barak
oh mama, did you see him
at that podium in springfield
he's got eyes to give a worried woman peace
and we've been stuck inside a lie that brought a nation to it's knees
i think somewhere in those eyes i see a chance
for our release
and you might say we're young and we can't handle what's in store
but isn't it the young we sent to battle to this war
barack obama
his truth will set you free
barack obama
mama, he's the man for me
barack obama
your truth will set you free
barack obama
you're the man for me
reflect your hope on me
project your hope on me
pomaika i'no, kamaha' o

I think the last blank lyric is "for our release." There is a new studio recording (sung by Maddy Wyatt, with Celia singing backup and playing tambourine) up on youtube.

Thanks!

in the lyrics the first blank is "he is preaching something new," the second is "you might think a girl from texas would take pride in recognizin'"
still can't make out the third one.

Thanks so much! Haha, I guess I was a little wrong even in attempted stab at guessing.
