Martha and the Muffins Danseparc

Spent some time on this one. I rendered it with a rip version of music right from the CD. Also, since the VCR tape is so old, and kept going outta sync with the CD audio, I had to add 1/10 sec clip copies from the video every 54 seconds to lengthen the video to keep in Sync. In total I think I added a total of 5 - one tenth, and two tenths to the video.

Thanks for the kind words. I actually wanted to preserve this, and then I realized it was badly outta sync when I dubbed it with the CD. I wanted the video with the good quality sound. So I just worked at it. I wrote MatM and got permission. My fav MatM song

Yer a godsend for putting in the work on this haunting childhood memory, Whuntmore! I wrote this intro to entice my FB friends to watch it: "Can't find this moody nugget in any other form (I want it for my iPod). The insistent, rumbling bass, slicing guitar and disorienting swarm of voices in the bridge etched itself into my 12yr old brain...My impression of Canada at this time was created by 'Danseparc', 'Scanners' & 'Videodrome'! " It strikes a unique emotive chord from The Muffins' canon!

MATM are one of my favourite groups of all time!Martha Johnsons voice is like silk!-& in this video Jocelyne looks well fit! I Would recommend fans of this band to get their album ''THIS IS THE ICE AGE'' from 1981,its an absolute masterpiece & has recently been released on CD by the band themselves-with extra tracks-for the first time ever,it really is a fantastic album and well worth buying on ebay.MATM are one of the most overlooked bands of the late 70s-early 80s-not just a one hit wonder!
