the owners of the charter schools pocket most of the funds. no school should run based on business. they even see parents as customers.

@29Essan uumm. So, I went to a regular public school and thier lunch was gross too, but do you really want to fund a school with students that dont care about htier education? That just sit in class waiting for things to be handed to them? I honestly like charter schools better.

Charter schools owners make lots of money. i work in one and they charge staff $ 3.75 for gross lunch. i want my taxes to go to public schools instead of cheater schools.

I think the fact that there's a lottery is "overblown" easily by the fact that you actually have to apply and be accepted to be in the lottery.
