I love this version. Slower tempo than Whiteman, but every bit as good in it's own right.
It conjures up images and an antmosphere of another time.

@limon276 Joseph LaCalle's Spanish Band did a recording of this for Columbia in 1926.

"Valencia" is a paso-doble (two step) written by spanish composer and musician Maestro Santiago Lope Gonzalo (1871-1909). I suppose that this melody has no lyrics, but I believe that the best playing is made by an Spanish band orchester and not by american Paul Whiteman Orchestra.

I'm sorry but I must comment on this one. I do believe that you are playing this one too slow. Try playing it at 80-82 rpm instead of around 70-76.
