  • A very thoughtful talk, & much I agree with, particularly the lack of concern for Africans. However, I don't understand the following: On one hand complaints about Nile Perch eating smaller fish, which once controlled bilharzia-transmitting snails, then worries about "over fishing" of Perch. Surely this foreign, alien & very carniverous monster-fish should be fished to extinction, and quickly? Once the watu thrived fishing for cichlid fish, very rare now, & they can't afford Perch.

  • You could make it clear that this clip is from a documentary called; 'DARWINS NIGHTMARE' made by Austrian director, Hubert Sauper - and it must be seen in full to see the unbelievable tragedy that has destroyed half a country.

Europe has a lot to answer for their complicity in the horror that has killed thousands of people and brought great suffering.

Please credit the director: Hubert Sauper

Hubert Sauper is a great friend to Africa and your clip would not exist without him.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Join me and together we can rule the galaxy. Did u know that last year more than half the humpback whales that were killed by Japanese arsehole Jap whaling boats were pregnant mothers!!!!!!! Dont tell me i had no right in murdering those butchering crew on those fuken whaling boats. Dont tell me did i have a conscious when i killed those rich bastards who live from the riches of the earth but desicrate and murder countless animals. I enjoyed the revenge

  • this documentary was really intense. So sad

  • EAT THEM UP, YUM!

  • I'm sure you come from familly with big influence in Tanzania, but sometimes it's that same power and protection that makes you close your eyes from seing things that makes your world a bit less perfect. I come from a modest background and I think that Tanzania is a great nation, specially now that the tribal wars in central Africa are over. But let's not say that there's no blood in Tanzanias hands, because by the end of the day, the tribal wars made more victims than the more mediatised 9/11.

  • These weapons come from european countries, mostly AK-47 rifles that are made in ex-soviet countries. They use the Tanzanian airport to make a double sided bussiness so that they can leave with the nile pearch (imported to Europe), making double profit. The danger being victims made these planes transit to tanzania rather than going directly to Congo or Rwanda region, casualties cost more than transportation, logic!

Maybe I don't get what you say, but do you consider watching the documentary?

  • nop

  • Congo and Rwanda are located on the central part of africa and western of Tanzania. Where do these weapons come from, why would the countries go to such problems when kenya has a bigger port than tanzania, there are many other sources that could transfer weapons to congo such as sudan and other countries that are already engaging in war, why would they take a detour to tanzania and risk losing money through transportation costs that can easily be avoided, do u get what i am saying

  • little wing, my uncle is the chief commander of the tanzanian police, and my family knows alot of the political figures in the country. i can tell u one thing , tanzania has corruption and in therecent years has been tackled hard by the current president Jakaya Kikwete. The arms dealing issue if sort are things that i have never heard of, i would like to see things first hand before i use videos creating through the minds of others. i suggest go to tanzania and see for your self,
