@jeremytexas Are you going to put this on EVERY fucking Emmitt Smith video on YouTube? Maybe you should've given him a better lap dance.
-
@earthshine2k ... Agreed. Too many kids watch a highlight film and think Barry ran for 80 yards on every play. The truth is he would have one long run each game. His other twenty carries would be minus 1 yard, gain 1 yard, minus 5 yards, gain 2 yards, etc.

He was all Florida had on offense that year.

@JohnnyV123 yes, barry sanders constantly put his team in 2nd and long / 3rd and long situations. Sure, he had a lot of long runs, and his positives far outweighed his negatives, but Barry Sanders, at the end of the day, was an undisciplined back who resisted running where the plays were designed to be run. He'd pass up holes in search of the breakaway gain. That running style wouldn't have worked in Dallas. Great runner, but not the greatest running back.
-
Well,i know your trying your best at being sarcastic. But,look at sanders playoff game at green bay.Negative yardage?LOL
-
@TheGatorfan93 Yeah he hurt his team by losing a yard on first down then gaining twenty on second down. Ouch, hurtful.

bad tipper!!!!!! jerk!!!!!!!!!!!!

@sedrick221 fred taylor......is that really your second choice? hahahahah

Sanders was the most exciting, but NOT the best... period. For all of the exciting runs he made,he cost his team just as much trying to make something out of nothing, instead of taking the sure short yardage.
Emmitt Smith is the greatest running back of all time in NFL.
Better that Fred Taylor

Really??? High school - 2nd most yards ever in American high school football by a player (at the time). College - finished with 58 Florida school records. NFL - finished with career rushing yards record and career rushing TD's record.
All because of blocking? Even if it was, I'll take Emmitt with a great O-line over anyone else with a bad O-line. You play as a team. You really can't EVER separate a player's success from his team, whether it be Emmitt, Brady, Montana, Rice, Marino, Elway, etc.
