It appears that Israel will sink the, soon to be decommissioned, USS Enterprise, 50 year old nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Very expensive to remove the 8 nuclear reactors. Sinking it and blaming it on Iran would leave the mess sunk in the Persian Gulf for someone else to worry about. It would start the greatly sought after WWIII. The oldest warships of the USA were brought to Pearl Harbor, for the Japanese to bomb and create an excuse to enter WWII. Japan was goaded into war by the USA.
