  • What degree do you hold Sam? It can not be in business because this bill is looking at increasing the costs of ALL companies (even those that do not currently offer Health Insurance). When costs go up, something has to be cut. That translates as jobs. Now with your example of people retiring from the work force does not automatically mean that the jobs will remain to be filled by someone else, in fact more than likely it will not.

  • Sam why do u have a website based out of Micronesia ??what is with the .FM domain ?? the republicans are evil and should be rounded up and put on trial like the nazis after WW2 they are even more evil.. they are doing a worldwide program of murder and enslavement

  • The Eurocrats just want to lose more jobs so more and more people give up their freedoms. The Eurocrats do not believe in America. They know this bill increases costs & is a framework for a single payer system. Why does Obama cling to this belief America must adopt the policies of nations whose people immigrate here from there? Obama is the last Democrat I will ever vote for. I am still waiting for my change.

  • @SeaWolfe59 I'm not disabled. I'm a college graduate. I teach science. I raise two children. I play sports. I would not qualify for disability, because I am not disabled. I simply need 400mg of phenytoin daily.

    1. Do you think that Americans should be denied health care due to a pre-existing condition?

    2. If so, who do you think will pay for that care when they need it?

I'm curious as to your definition of patriotism. Do you know how the German Healthcare system works?

  • @MrOttopants

If you are an American citizen its sounds like you should be on disability sir.

And, which country do you pledge your allegience to? Whichever will give you what you want? Pick a country and stand by it...thick or thin.

  • @SeaWolfe59 And if you should lose your job during an administration that loses 6.5 million jobs during its two terms? If you are epileptic like me, and you successfully control your seizures, even if you lose your job, no insurance company is going to take me.

Given that I've used the health systems in Germany, Holland, and the US, I would take the German or the Dutch system in a second over the one we have here. It's less expensive, and it's more successful.

    Thanks for the advice.

  • @MrOttopants

Keep your insurance up to date and in force. Thats how you keep yourself covered. Thats how insurance works.

  • @dizzymasekela

Thats juvenile. This was in the media? Show your proof that Republicans are saying this. Otherwise, stop spreading nonsense.

  • @muetter

Does it really matter what your Republican friends say? It looks like the bill is headed off the cliff on its own. The CBO says costs will probably increase and that people will probably NOT be able to keep their own insurance so that argument is pretty much cooked...and Obama's promises are pretty much bs.

And now theres a Florida ruling that the bill is unconstitutional. Its not looking good for the socialist democrats. Obama knew this was on shaky ground at the start.
