  • Whoever uploaded this video basically ruined the scene. Leave the tracking shots in please, the composition is beautiful and essential, do not EDIT AND CUT in order for this to fit the 10 Minute length. Post two videos if you must, but do not EDIT. The circular tracking shot is amazing and was ruined by your hackery.

  • Dude, i took this video from the "cut " version of the film. You are probably talking about the directors version. Why am I getting blamed for something I have not done???

  • Cutting their tongues off was justified as well?

  • Andrei Rublev will always be on my Top 10 list. And Tarkovsky will remain one of my all time favorite directors/POETS.

Just this scene alone captures the very essence of the "Russian soul": hard life, poverty and suffering, yet it's all depicted with such warmth and such poetic sensibility.

I wish someone would post the final scene(s) from the movie, when it switches to color (the icons)!

  • The song beginning from 02:45 is indeed such a beautiful thing and gives this scene such an amazing athmosphere.

  • Does anyone would know, please, what is this "song", or where could I find some of the sound tracks of the movie ?

  • What is the song ?

  • russians...amazing writers...the best chess players...otherworldly strength...but as comedians....EPIC FAIL!!!!!!

  • there are some inappropriate comments, it seems they do not know what it means to the movie, if you really felt the most accurate perspective, this is a great work of art, undoubtedly the best movie I ever seen in my life and the best director of all time, by making the theater art and its ultimate expression .. image sequences, music and dialogues .. has it all.

  • watch this movie with a friend and we were just glued to the screen

  • Where can I get the music? God its so haunting.

  • The 'Director's Cut' is actually the short version. Tarkovsky preferred it to the long version but for some reason the long version is called the director's cut or the Scorsese Cut because he was the one who rescued it from Russia.

  • This is a shame. I am not blaming you per-say. One of the best scenes from the film is ruined by hackery is all. Are you passionate about this film as art, as beauty, as something with meaning? Not only is this hackery, but the scene is completely changed and butchered.
