  • OLDEST FOOTBALL CHANT IN THE WORLD - FACT

  • This is a shit chant

  • @CanaryStarFish Last time I checked norwich was in norfolk........but I can see how you could have gotton confused.........unless of course you mean Norwich, Vermont, USA ?

Look I'll be honest with you Mr/Ms Star Fish - I’m only on here as someone I work with used to live in Norwich, (the one in Norfolk, England) and was having a laugh about the OTBC song (the one stolen/borrowed/swapped with a bunch of teachers). All the best SAB

  • @southaussieblue - Norfolk? A Teachers Team in "Norwich", muppet!

The point I was making about Stoke is the Tom Jones track to the Stoke fan, which is fairly recent in footballing terms. I think you'll find "we" stole ours at the birth of Norwich - , it was probably most of the Teachers Team who joined Norwich at the time.

  • @CanaryStarFish - soooooooo NCFC stole (adopted) the song from some other extremely small teams in norfolk? You say tomato etc etc

  • @southaussieblue At least get your facts straight. NOT stolen from a long defunct club. There was a song sang at Norwich Teachers around 1890s when extremely small teams in Norwich started playing games. This was adapted to a football song for the City in the early 1900s, when Norwich were formed as a professional club.
