SMT Lucifer´s call - Demonic Compendium completed in HARD

Well, this isn´t New game+

One of my most preciated game saves so far.

I have most of the ultimate demons in the game "Pierced", also look at other skills :P ( took me a lot of hours transfering focus, might, endure, hades blast, prayer, victory cry...to each one and completing DC of course, believe me, really hard and tedious work ).

This game in hard can be a pain if you dont play smart. Not to mention completing all kalpas, beating graveyards quest, all magatamas, all demonic compendium, beating luci in true demon ending( surely i will record it )...and all in hard difficulty.

I have disregarded of some ultimate demons like Lilith cose she cannot be transfered with Hassohappa, Hades blast, Deathbound or any other massive phisical attack, like some others.

Uh... Might is actually the most useless skill in the game... Not to mention the pointlessness of having all those repel skills on your main character when the magatama that teaches them blocks everything 'cept almighty.

@FirestormSurtr It nulls them. Repeling spells just gives me the turn, the real porpuse of having them. My real power comes from demons not for my main character which is more like a support than anything and freikugel, deadly fury (all) and pierce is all i really need. Focus is the only skill i miss.

@ValkyriePROfile83 u get the turn for void/absorb/repel. You don't need to stack them. You actually did waste all those slots

@thetubeaccount No if i´m fighting bosses with two or more turns (nearly all late game). Repel directly gives me the turn in the first repeled attack, null no. Anyway it´s been nearly 3 years since i played Nocturne, I can´t barely remember anything but i´m sure that was the real purpose as I´m really methodic with setups. I appreciate criticism, though.

I'm a bit of a noob at the game still, though i just got to the temple of amala and beat albion for my first time. I'm sort of curious, how do you complete the compendium because i can't find enough deathstones to make all the fiends? :(

Just go through the kalpas and u will find more than enough deathstones to make all of them. There is at least one in each kalpa for what I can barely remember.

To elaborate, since yes I knew that already, repelling is still useless for wasting turns when you can obliterate the enemy instead. No one bothers getting those repel skills. Why? Because they're useless. At least in this game, they are. Why would you want to waste the enemy's turns when they can't do crap to you anyway? What. Is. The. Point.

I knew that for 2 years already, but that's not the point. The point is --- it is pointless. Ironic, is it not?

@FirestormSurtr please understand that voiding the spell wastes only 2 turns of the enemy. but if you repel OR drain it it will waste all of the enemies' turns. hope that helps

I'm playing this game in Hard mode too, but I've already arrived to Great Ginza Underpass but I can't access the Demonic Compendium... It's normal? If yes, when I will get the Compendium's option?

It's still pointless if you can null everything short of almighty, even if you're on playing a support role. It's just wasted skill slots which could be better used putting on something like Mediarahan, Focus, Deathbound, etc.

Speaking of Focus, why the hell does your main character lack it?
