  • could be worse Pete, you could be my dad with terminal cancer, living in a tiny flat in London, no money and no local help especially not a mobility scooter.

    things will get better though.....

  • @sweetypie000 yes indeed that is extremely sad and I do count my blessings in that I am able to support and look after myself. I hope to raise those issues in a future video but having difficulties in getting permission for some footage that I want to use.

  • @alan4391 I do try to mix them up and have done more funny things, but this is real life.

  • Thank you Peter! although this video is sad the poem was very beautiful.

  • @derekcolman

i would if i could but i suffer from a bone condition that causes them to break easily.

bit like osteoporosis but it's a genetic disease, i was born with it.

so it wouldn't be the best idea to take up such a physical sport.

but thank you for the concern - really nice of you!

  • I love the beautiful poem, made me smile but it also made be a little sad cause I feel you are a little lonely

I saw one of my favorit cereals on the super market selves. Crunchy Nut Flakes. yum, We have that cereal in America too.

  • Thank you for the poetry...the single TV dinner in the microwave..very effective expression of a solitary life. Great work! I do hope this is an attempt by you to convey the state of many of our Seniors...and that you yourself do not often feel this way...It seems to me you have a rather interesting life...

  • I wish people did speak to each other. Everyone is in his own little world either lost in thought or rushing somewhere or talking (or more likely texting) on their mobile phones. We need more human interaction.

  • Awww Peter. =( You are such a strong person, I am happy to see you again. =) Your video is a little sad, but I still love it, it just shows you like... on an everyday kind of day. =) Stay strong, we are here... do you often cook btw? Or do you eat microwave kind of foods? I am just curious. I eat microwaved foods all the time.

  • A hug from a great fan of yours in Australia :-))))

  • Be my Grandpapa, Mr. Peter, I'd pamper you and spend time with you always!! You are amazing, and this made me value what a smile is.

  • a smile is the source of happiness :)
