Serenity Actual Part 3: More full-scene action and background work of Nutnfancy and crew's "Armed Serenity" shoot 2009. Putting it together, ensuring safety, maximum runs for everyone, getting USABLE video and pictures (no time to check if they came out on scene, only afterward), setting up and executing scoring, making sure shooters stay under pressure (and are helped by their safety monitors)...all within just a few hours of daylight (for best filming) is near impossible. But we did it and it turned out pretty good (although I can never get enough video!). Here we show the "Crossroads" 200 yd RunNGun with my run through to demo it. It is a difficult exercise that shows the shooter's ability to remain calm under pressure (some), physical fitness (to a degree!), and marksmanship skills under time constraints. Later, for time and the large group awaiting sequence, we had to pare it down to only the 100 yd RunNGun with the 200 yd plate engagements accomplished separately. Some may roll in and criticize various things like shooter's heavy breathing, shooting stances, and the always-present mistakes (intentionally left in for audience learning). But again this a just a group of dudes practicing and learning their systems and they are representative of ALL shooters, including YOU. I have yet to see any kind of shooter not make big mistakes under a competitive tactical course like this. Armchair elitism doesn't play well in TNP and any critics need to have vids showing their hardcore, under-pressure shooting of this course to have any credibility here...internet babble costs nothing. Lots of learning moments occurred and we had fun in the process. Goals achieved! ///////////////////////// Music by

  • A good idea for a Part4 and final part on all run-n-guns like this would be a "lessons learned" video detailing equipment failures, unique issues encountered with various target positions, etc.

  • lol still waiting for part 4!

  • MAGLULA!! yeaahhh... SadlyMissing!! YEAAHHH

  • Awesome Vids!! Just discovered Nutnfancy a week ago for table top reviews..... Where have I been?? Some great info and entertainment here...

  • @nutnfancy There are 2 very similar Leupold scopes-- the Mark 4 SPR model # 67905 and the VX-3 model # 67830. Though I prefer the reticule of the VX-3 model # 67840 which is a circle -dot for running' and gun'n. Which model do you have specifically ?? All the models listed above are Leupold 1.5x5 illuminated.

    Thanks !

  • does anyone know where i can order a 36" Riffle Case in Desert Digital MARPAT???? please anywhere online works thanks -fellow sheepdogs

  • HOLY S*** NUTNS 6'3?!! He looks like 5' 7''

  • And Sport, during a firefight, you shoot to lock if there is still an active threat that needs servicing, you dont stop your engagement without support just because your getting low. And if you are a USAF asset (based on your first comment) even the TAC-P trainers say the same thing.

  • Ok, so your telling me that mid firefight you know youve fired 23 rounds??? I call bullshit. I havent been able to in my gunfights, none if the guys ive trained have been able to recollect round count , and no one I have trained with has been able to give an exact roundcount (including at least one former SOFD operator). Can you get a feel for "i might be getting a little low" yes, can you change at a lul in the action just to stay topped up, yes
