Demonstration of MBT-LAW.
The Main Battle Tank and Light Armour Weapon (MBT LAW) is a disposable, man-portable short range fire-and-forget anti-tank guided missile system. The MBT LAW was developed by Saab Bofors Dynamics, using technology derived from the Carl Gustav, BILL 2, and AT4 CS systems. It is a soft-launch system, allowing it to be used from enclosed spaces.

  • Well, if you actually watch the video you can see that it flies above the target and fire downwards, where the roof of the target would be.

  • The demo armor is the standard RHA used in all weapons testing.

The warheads is basicly the same as in Bill2 and the rear quite easilly pierces 510 mm of RHA alone.

This means that MBT-LAW will punch through ALL tanks and hit the ground under them...

  • I assume the launcher gets a velocity and distance reading and then relays that to the missile. Does it use inertial guidance?

  • is just amazing

  • I need to buy one like this.

  • I would love to have this.

  • I don't think they would try this weapon on a challenger 2, it would just cost to much. Are you sure it wasn't an old challenger 1 or centurion?
