After a 5 year absence from flight training, and not many hours back then, I decided I was not getting any younger and it ain't getting any cheaper. So I renewed my student licence and booked a flight in the Eurofox. I had my kids, wife and sister-in-law manning our new mini DSLR camera, and since it was new, there were a few misunderstandings on the operation of it apparantly. Anyway, thats their excuse and they're sticking to it. Hence, no take-off roll in this video... just climb-out.
Anyway, the flight went well. I had the controls from start to end (with the exception of one demo stall), and I performed my first stall!! Pretty excited about that, never experienced one before. One highlight was when I circled my house to take a picture of it with my phone, Chris didn't offer to take over flying while I set up the camera and took the shot. And it didn't bother me in the slightest. I got a great shot from a nicely balanced 360º turn at approx 2000'. I guess this must be a stable aircraft...
I can't wait for my next flight! Hopefully we'll get some better footage.. Should happen in the next week or so... After that though, they'll be spread out a bit thanks to an unexpected change in financial position..
Thanks for looking!
