Frozen Swimming Pool

June2010 Edit: After several "So what?" comments, THIS WAS DALLAS. It never gets cold enough down here to freeze things as large as swimming pools or small ponds. It was a major enough event that it made the news that day.

After some of the coldest weather the DFW Metroplex has seen in about 14 years, we went outside to find a solid sheet of ice covering our pool even though we left the pumps running! Thickness ranges from very thin all the way to about 1/4" thick in the shade.
