I get asked a LOT about the best cameras to buy for this type of shooting or that type of video. On today's Brief, we're taking a look at three different cameras to show the strengths and weaknesses of each. Panasonic HVX200A Great quality camera Shoots to P2 Cards Expensive JVC GY-HM100 Great size Creates Final Cut ready files Removable XLR inputs Didn't have great results in low light Kodak Zi8 Smallest HD camera with mic input and image stabilization Very inexpensive No zoom or focus Canon Vixia HFS10 Great for $700-$1200 range Use my promo code GEEK to save 12% when you sign up with SquareSpace to easily build a great looking Web site.

@KnightMD They demonstrate three cameras, shooting from three different angles so it would be easier for us to spot which camera is which. I liked what they've done. For studio with lots of light there is no point of buying an expensive camera, you don't use its features anyway, you just lock it off. This is great example what a cheap digicam can do, especially if you shoot for the Web.
