How To Fix The Divx Movies Folder

So, you downloaded Divx Converter and don't like that you have to have all your files in the "Divx Movies" folder? Have no fear! Applescript, and it's sidekick: Folder Actions, are here!

You need to be an administrator to make one. If you're the only account on your computer, then you're an admin. Otherwise, you'll need to find out who is one and ask them to "Promote" you.

It's worth having for me because I have a Palm Handheld. Which, sadly, won't play movies with the free software I DLed except for DIVX.

how would i make it move, or in my case copy, to the folder i specify only when available? i will do the do shell script "cp -r " only when the folder specified is available? I want to backup my school files to a usb drive over my airport but how can i tell it that i only want it done when i am connected to my home network? thanks
