The Fiends Episode 58: RISE UP & FALL

Mike interviews independent filmmaker Brian Hewitt about his television series RISE UP & FALL and his upcomming feature film.

HEWITT FILMS was founded in 2005 when Brian Hewitt produced a series of comedy skits which became popular in the Central New York area.

After establishing himself as a comedic actor Brian wanted to demonstrate his range as an actor, so he began producing the Crime/Drama series RISE UP & FALL for Time/Warner Cable Television.

The series and upcoming feature film tell the story of a man fed up with a meager exstance as a poorly paid corporate employee, who is befriended by Mike (DJ AEYST), a drug dealing gangster, who promises him a life of money, power, and respect if he joins his crime sydicate.

RISE UP & FALL is a gritty dramatic portrait of a man's turmoil in life and the sacrifices he makes to obtain success.

Writer-Director Brian Hewitt and Assist. Director Carl Barber are both natives of Syracuse, New York.
