What he means is that, sure, you CAN make this with metal, BUT in order to achieve this illusion, you need to stand in one, and ONLY ONE, position. No other positions work.

....Just an FYI for people thinking if you had this object in your had you'd witness the same illusion.
You wouldn't. Why? Because you have two eyes at a distance apart, and therefore have 2 perspectives and focal points on any given object.
Now - Close 1 eye, and you could witness this in real life. But this works on camera because there is only 1 perspective.

Except... the Escher Cube is all STRAIGHT lines (as imagined and drawn) with 90° angles and this has curved lines.
Even a pause at 0:00 shows the curves where the lighting changes.
Plus, the bottom/top corners aren't smooth with the "vertical (looking)" lines, and in the Escher Cube they are. (If you look, you'll see it.)
Nice representation though, but it isn't a true Escher Cube, even by first appearances of an Escher fan.

It's not a cube anymore! :D
Doesn't it require 4 dimensions to do something like this?
