thanks, Jess. It was exciting and fun. I made a video of a Romani group called Edessa with hundreds of the crowd dancing a Balkan folk dance on the grass that day, but it was too long for youtube. I'm gonna cut it and put it up some day soon. I like your videos, too!

Im an American from the Southwest & of Spanish descent. This is new to me. I have an appreciation for the audience enthusiasm. It's a wonderful expression of something you feel from deep within...a part of you & where you come from. Joyous music. I am far from being a gypsy or Roma so please forgive my ignorance..Thank you all for sharing. I grew up with wedding polkas & accordians, hearing it brings joyful tears.

Here is the one member of Gogol Bordello who is really Roma with a 100 percent Roma audience and other performers this is 100 percent REAL gypsy :) so if you reallllly trullllly love eugene/gogol you will love this, if you really appreciate the gypsy part of town and know how to PARTY! <3

@zhara42 You are not Roma (you know gypsy) this is what we do when we get excited about performances. silly gadjo you are hahah. peace and all the best though just dont hate our people you are eugene/gogol fan yes? well here is eugene with real roma people, his people and i don't blame the woman my mom and cousins and friends all do exact same thing i dont but i do get excited also notice everyone is going fucking nuts they are so excited lots of people yelling as you call it haha PARTY!

whoever is complaining about people (in particular one woman who is extra excited) being so enthusiastic and whistling and such well that is what we Romani people do (the people in the audience are reallll gypsies 100 percent, this is Roma Fest for crying out loud....but i guess you'll never know...haha just relax if you really love Eugene/Gogol please also love the rest of our people, you can't understand maybe if you are not 100 percent roma like me but try? for eugene). :)
