I've been looking forward to uploading this file for a while but have been busy working a lot lately. This is the first stage of the mids and highs install. There will probably be 2 more stages. In the next stage I will be installing the 4 6.5 inch Crescendo Audio midrange and tweetr sets in the rear deck of my Civic. Once I can afford my kick panels and rea deck enclosure I will be installing the rest of the speakers I have.

  • Where did u buy the rings? R ya make it urself?

  • @MrWhitesoxxx Well the tweeters are crossed over at I think 3000 hz. The tweeters are only meant to do very high frequencies. If you are running coaxes in the back and only tweeters in the front youre missing out on all of your midrange sounds. 400 to 3000 you arent getting in the front. Stand alone tweeters should always accent a componnt or coax speaker never really just by themselves. I wil be doing 3 1 inch tweeters in my a pillar and one n the corner byt he door. Will have 2 sets comps too

  • @Loudizzzzle hahaha ya man i want that amp too! xD but the one im using right now its pretty decent and puts out its rated, but ya you are pushin 3 speakers in the vid..., but if you were to hear mine,( just the tweets playing) you'd be like wtf, this is definetly not 100 rms, sounds more like 5 watts pushing the tweets not to mention i get lots of "ssssssss" when i put it at high volume. im thinking the problem has to do with those darn x-overs, wat u think? might just buy the cmpont set insted

  • @MrWhitesoxxx See your not just hearing the CTS1's when you hear my videos. I also have a CCX65 component set in my doors which has a 6 inch midrange and another 1 each tweeter mounted coaxially for now. Youre actually hearing 3 speakers not just the tweeters. Also my mids and highs amp is a 1000C4. 250 x 4 :D

  • @Loudizzzzle also i bought new RCA'S, and i tested all channels of my amp, and it makes my coaxials scream! so i know those are not the issue...im kinda stumped man, i really want to get these working properly. you got any ideas why they wont sound loud and clear?

  • @Loudizzzzle no lol :p, i got a 400 rms 4 channel amp, im running 4 coaxials off the rear channels, and the two crescendo tweets off the fronts channels, so they are seeing around 100 rms each tweet, (gains down ofcourse) and i have the tweets hooked up to the small x over that came with it in kit. But its sound no where as crystal clear as yours :-/ or as loud. The tweets play but the sound is so tiny you can barley hear music playing....could it be my wiring?

  • @MrWhitesoxxx ARe you running the tweeters off of head unit power also?

  • @Loudizzzzle thanks for the quick reply. Interesting, well im using the small x-over the cts- tweeter kit came with, should i upgrade to extra 2 way cross overs for better sound? im only running the tweets(no mid)

  • @MrWhitesoxxx I ran the extra CTS1 tweeter off of the CCX65 crossover. The tweeter for the component set runs off of the -3db tweeter output and the CTS1 runs off of the 0 tweeter output.

  • Man those sound amazing! Just curious how do you have the tweeters(on sail pannels) wired? are u using the supplyed xover, or u using something else? Reason i ask cuz i just bought some and i pushing 80 rms to them but dont sound clear, (my stock rears are louder off headunit power) they sound very harsh ;/ any tips wouls be greatly appreiciated
