the price is good but not the overseas outsourced customer service ,these people in the philippines or guatamala speak engish and are so polite but they dont seem to communicate well, its always taken me hours to deal with any quirks or issues both myself and my girlfriend have had several problems with not being able to make calls and ive had problems with my internet browser not working ...i would rather work a few xtra hours at work than spend hours on the phone with ST's overseas support
Natlieremo is correct when she states that nothing is wrong about cheap deals when you buy from straighttalk. Some other companies who sell cheap phones are suspect but Straighttalk aint one of them. I'v bought more than 10 phones from them as family presents and haven't had any complaints.
I been with Straight Talk a year and I've saved over $800.00 as it's my business phone so I use it all the time. I find it great to know that my work cell phone expense will always be $45.00 a month...no more, no less...it helps me to budget better.
@natalieremo I think that has something to do with if you don't pay a lot for product or service, there must be something wrong with it. As you know, that couldn't be further from the truth when it comes to Straight Talk. This is what you need to do. Tell them to buy one of the less expensive phones and put the all in one plan for $30 for 30 days. If they're not satisfied at the end of 30 days, buy the phone from them. My guess is they'll by thrilled that they keep the phone.
It's great but if you need help, I'm telling everybody to use the support tab on their Facebook page. This way, you get great savings AND great support, Ha!
@ffreda6 you forgot to mention that you'll never get a dropped call while using those unlimited minutes as well. The fact that they use the ATT and Verizon wireless towers to broadcast their signals means that it's the most comprehensive source of coverage in the US.
Anyone with a teenager knows the "cell phone bill" nightmare and the war that follows! Straight Talk has made that problem disappear and boy am I grateful! We now have peace in our home and my daughter is as happy as can be and uses her cell phone 24/7 without being yelled at!
Pre paid really is the way of the future I think! No more shocks at the end of the month when you recieve your cell phone bill. It's all sorted out upfront for $45 with the ST unlimited plan and you have all the texts, calls and data transfers at your disposal. Verizon is great so you don't have to worry about the reception failing you either..
@natalieremo I feel sorry for them lol. Sooner or later word is going to get out that prepaid services simply don't cost as much as contract carriers price them at and they are going to have to drop their prices to stay competitive with Straight Talk. That's when your friends will realize what they've done lol
@GolferGuy3782 Nobody believes me! I use my phone in the exact same way that my iPhone user friends do but I literally pay like a third of what they do each month. It's pretty ridiculous that people are so willing to overpay on wireless bills in a recession.
