Using a high accuracy and fast GPS, I write my signature in thin air and it appears on a laptop screen. The GPS is a Racelogic VBOX data logger, which uses GPS and the Russian Glonass system to achieve 2cm accuracy using RTK techniques. It updates 50 times a second.

  • @quadbravo The system requires a clean line of sight with the satellites, so it will only ever work outside in an open area.

  • What would be the accuracy if it were put inside a building but several DGPS stations were added; say 4, one in each quadrant?

  • @jools360 So with two antenna you could show roll and yaw ?

  • Not so bad--please see also my movie with the GPS Flight data of a flight competition in the DOlomits.
