NRANews investigative reporter Ginny Simone exposes the coordinated assault by greedy lawyers and big-city mayors to sue firearm makers for the acts of criminals — a concerted effort to bankrupt America's firearms industry. This ugly attempt to get through the courts what they could not get through Congress — the destruction of American gun makers — was such a threat it was ultimately stymied with passage of the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. This report was filed in September of 1999.
@jasonfulton Right, banning guns is stupid. They thing banning guns will keep criminals from killing people, well, guess what? Criminals don't care about the law! All their doing by banning guns is making law-abiding citizens give up their right, while Mr.Kill-a-lot's busting down your door and shooting you and your family ,while your defenseless. Make sense? Hell no.

I have an idea: If a gun manufacturing company goes belly up, the former employees should all file a lawsuit against the mayors, lawyers and lobbyists who all profitted from the downfall of the gun company.

If I am disarmed can I sue the government for the death of a family member? If not then the governement has no case.
