Humber continued with its work to revitalize the Lakeshore community with the opening of the newest building on Friday, November 25th, giving it a new name in the process.
With Member of Parliament Bernard Trottier, provincial cabinet minister and Member of Provincial Parliament Laurel Broten (both representing Etobicoke-Lakeshore), Humber president John Davies, and Humber Students Federation president Bryan Tran on hand, the new building, previously known as Building L, was officially opened with the name Lakeshore Commons.
The opening of the new $36 million, four-storey, 110,000 sq. ft. hub of the Lakeshore campus has room for 2,000 students and is the new "front door" to the east side of the campus.
