Saying Owl City sounds like(rips off, ect.) The Postal Service, in my opinion, is like saying everything in one genre is a knock off of each other. It's the genre, many bands carry the same elements as other's and this is that fancy old thing called genre. Saying that Owl City is a rip off of The Postal Service is ignorant and annoying. If you don't like bands that sort of sound alike and have some of the same elements, listen to multiple genres and move on.

I actually discovered this music because of owl city and I agree to 100% of what @autyphins says. I mean at this point, should we tell every single human being on earth they're a rip off from everybody else cause they have feelings? I think music is a beautiful way to express yourself and as a musician for myself it's the only way and every single day I can thank god or whoever gave me this ability to share my thoughts and feelings through sound.
