@kphillips012 i would say Owl City is a solo artist/project by Adam Young when speaking of the albums but a band when speaking of live shows

@kphillips012 true ;) but idk, with Owl City it's hard to say since Breanne Duren, and a bunch of other people do tour with him, even if they don't contribute to the album (aside from Breanne Duren's guest singing). and Adam even says 'we're Owl City'. It's not like with Lights where it's obvious Lights is JUST her (Lights is actually her name) and the people who play with her are support musicians not a band.

@DJMimzy dont break it down by media generated facts. which band has a more solid following? regardless if TPS hasnt put out anymore material OC will never touch them no matter how many albums or tours the do :) TPS is the soundtrack to generations. OC is bubble gum knock off pop :) need we get into lyrical abilities? :)

@kphillips012 I love both bands but TPS never even had ONE hit, while OC had a minor hit with 'Vanilla Twilight' as well ... and Owl City is still touring and relevant, released a fairly successful album last year, Postal Service isn't even active anymore.
