  • I agree the trombones could have offered more at 5:30 but I'm willing to offer the benefit of the doubt because of the recording and the format through which we're viewing it. Maslanka's 4th is something special and this performance was captivating. Perhaps the best part was the audience reaction. This piece, and this performance truly speaks to, and from, the heart.

  • this is a world class performance and ensemble! wish the trombones gave more during the 5:30ish mark!!

  • @veege04 I completely agree with you on the t-bones... I have a recording where the brass are in-your-face and its frickin amazing

  • My favorite Maslanka piece :) but...totally random, and I'm sorry youtubers, but I was chatting on Omegle with someone about this piece on 3/7, and the tab got closed and I lost them forever. So I'm posting this here, hoping that maybe they'll see it and I can talk to them again! So if you see this, whoever you are, send me a message. Haha. Again, sorry people just enjoying this video, disregard this comment. There's just no other way to find the stranger.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. One of my all time favorite pieces.

  • There seem to be some children performing in this group as well. Wonder what kind of ensemble this is. Is it some sort of festival ensemble? They play this piece VERY well. I think it's great that they allow young musicians to play alongside more mature musicians.
