What about how big screen tvs have flattened like framed pictures. I remember just 10 years ago when if you bought a big screen tv that you needed 12 of your friends to come help move it into your house. Now, you can simply hang it on your wall! What progress!
Gosh, how about the first transportable, the Osborne. Weighed 27 pounds and looked like a lopsided sewing machine. It ran CPM, had 64KB ram, dual floppys and optional additional 64KB. I still have mine.
