Natalie always thought she was the only one who had a connection with John and the truth was in this scene and in the one when she in the hospital when she lost her sight, he told her then that she knew him better than anyone! These to connected because they are the same in morals, belief in justice, strong senses of loyalty to friends and family, she was just the female version of John

Was Nora in an interracial marriage, but the writers/producers soon got rid of the guy quick!!! At this point if OLTL needs to be cancelled nothing is happening right on that show!!!!

I never watched or understood the Cris/Van pairing. I felt the writers/producers paired them together to heat Jolie and keep issues going between Van/Natalie. Because she could have went back to RJ instead they continue to keep divison between them!!!

ITA, Renee was a challenge with so much talent and OLTL men was falling for her! The writers was willing to do what they had to do to make Jolie be a couple and every pairing for Van ended up in a sour break up, There was a problem some where!!!

I agree even though John said he loved Van many times she was never allowed to hear it, she got it all the time with Cris but I always felt like Van/Cris had the heat, they just were DULL. Jovan made a simple conversation HOTT and if they were truly able to explore it, Jovan would have never been able to be stopped.

For me I don't think the writers had a problem with the interracial aspect because Van was paired with John/Cris/and somewhat Todd. I think the real problem and this is just my opinion but with ME/REG they had this powerful chemistry and it was natural and TSJ/REG also had this raw chemistry. And I think writers go with what is easy, they were lazy writers because they didn't want to have to go outside the realm of what they new to make Jovan and even Tangeline work.
