I don't understand the negative comments. All the time I was watching this, I was inspired and actually felt I could someday be as good. I don't get that with most WCS dancers - they seem too far out of reach for me. But this was different. Great dancing, yet reachable. Nice work.

Awesome, powerful routine with lots of energy and dynamic. If your west coast swing lacks technique, connection, dynamic and sophistication, that's fine, at least be honest enough with yourself to admit it to yourself, instead of just labeling someone as a "ballroom dancer" because they can do something you cannot.

bad energy, no swing just performance, i hope wcs will keep is own energy cause i stopped balroom dancing to dance argentine tango, wcs and salsa and when i see this kin of video, i'm really afraid for wcs

You should see Tatiana Mollmann's dancing...she's "fierce" on the the dance floor as well and is obviously an awesome WCS champion. Dancing is an artistic expression of all emotions. Good thing WCS isn't confined to just one type of expression. Gary is also an amazing instructor. I've had the opportunity to take a couple privates from him when he was in my area. Very nice, professional, and gives lots of technical knowledge.

Brave to use Janis Joplin for WCS, I thought the routine was very well performed and the dancers are no doubt exceptional but I did'nt get a WCS feel from it at all, maybe I've been away for to long, I don't know.
