Let's Play Fire Emblem 5 Thracia 776 Part 1

Welcome to let's play Fire Emblem 5 Thracia 776, sorry for the desync, this is my only video that didn't have layer/transparency bugs and game freezes. The sounds only 20 seconds off and since it's mostly story it's not the biggest loss.

As I said in the video that rom translation freezes at certain points that I avoided through rom/savestate swapping and the editing turned out better than I had hoped! Not frame perfect but for snes games it doesn't really have to be.

For those unfamiliar with Fire Emblem games the battles aren't based on skill fighting rather than skill in chosing which fights you get in, there are multiple ways to finish each battle some better than others, for example if you go strait to the boss fight sparing the enemies forced into fighting you by the bad guys you get bonus dialogue options and better rewards on certain fights, the people you don't kill might show up later to help you out - or might show up later even stronger to give you a hard time! Either way you get More out of the game doing it the right way. Your characters die in Fire Emblem, they are dead, you get a game over if a neccessary for plot progression character dies, though if one of those characters dies After they have surved their purpose you can choose to continue on without them - but that's no fun losing people. (I can think of at least on example of a time in a Fire Emblem game where you Have to lose someone in order for someone stronger to join your party later on)

@LordSyrinx Por was standalone when it was released, different country and main characters, also it introduced the laguz. There are a few similarities throughout the game most notable the beggining, but that is more likely just a reflection of the style of the creator than intention.
