This ain't no ECCO the DOLPHIN! Classic Game Room HD reviews ECHO for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console, also known as the Philips Videopac G7000. ECHO is a game very similar to the 1980's toy called SIMON. You hit colored, numbered buttons (or the Magnavox keys in this case) in the same pattern as shown to you by the computer. This is an old school puzzle game that is simplistic in nature but still a lot of fun to play. Echo is called a mind bending mental gymnastics competition (ouch!) Simon says what!? ECHO, bitches........ ECHO, bitches! Classic Game Room always brings you the best in classic, retro video gaming reviews. Nobody makes more, nobody has more systems, nobody else keeps their Atari cartridges in the same fridge as the beer (we made that part up though). CGRHD bitches....... CGRHD bitches! It's the ECHO! Get it? Old school gaming forever!

  • Well, the guy who made Simon Says also made The Odyssey. You know Ralph H. Baer, the Grandfather of Video Games! He invented Pong before pong.

  • your name is floaty pineapple

  • Ralph H. Baer is epic win.

  • Dude!! thanks for this. Brings back so many happy memories. I loved Pik-axe pete. Do you have that one?

  • bump

  • shit this is better then MW2

  • @Morahman7vnNo2 ahh i see....

tennis for two looks interesting...even if it isnt pong. but pong on that would be nice all the same haha. i love the green trails it leaves behind

  • @Xegethra Fair enough, it's because I judge by the commercially successful on television format; though it would be cool to play pong on my oscilloscope.

  • @Morahman7vnNo2 the cathode ray tube amusement device was what really started computer and video gaming. like i said, he may have made early advances, but he isnt exactly a founding gandfather of the industry, just a guy who contributed granted, heavily to the whole thing....but i wouldnt consider him a grandfather figure for it

  • @Xegethra He invented the Brown Box, the first home game console as far as I know, if that doesn't make him the grandfather then I don't know what does.
