Q:my 6 year old 17 pound male cat is occasionally constipated he just had to have a second enema his first one was 6 months ago the vet told me to give him a stool softener named colace 3 times a day should i mix it in his food? or is there something else i should use? A:you could mix it with his food if continues ask vet about lactulose for him or another drug called cisapride

  • look, do not use stool softener! Stool softener can be dangerous as shown in one of our videos. Check it out to see the harmful effects of it.

  • That looks more like a dog and not a cat. But I think that you should be able to mix with the food.
