Through the might of the Dhamma, hordes of enemies are vanquished.
Through the might of thte Sangha, dangers are vanquished.
Guarded by the might of the True Dhamma, I live in the Victors Cage.)

  • Hi Lotusangel, first of all thank you for the post. 2 questions; 1) whose voice is in this recording? 2) what was said before the begining of the chant? THANK YOU :)

  • @dysonpeople Hi.

1)The mp 3 was chanted by Thai monks. 2) It introduces the history of Jinapanjara gata to everyone in Thai. Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh Phomarangsi is a well known holy monk that was given the rank Somdej by Thai royal families & Wat RaKhang is the name of the temple. Every sutra must hv history of who wrote it or who preaches the Dharma & etc. The main purpose is to tell us those are the words of Buddha or monk with great Dharma knowledge that told us about it & etc. :)

  • @dysonpeople Jinapanjara gata is a well known sutra that was also acknowledged & recites by many other Thai monks, it serves as a guarantee that the sutra is not a fake sutra. It’s important to know what type of sutra we are reciting & they are written or acknowledge by which teacher.

Recite this Sutra mindfully & without any thought arise. You may transfer the merits to anyone or everyone to cultivate merits. By the way, I will also recommend you to read Amitabha Sutra. May all be well :)

  • I read your discription, but I have a problem is that my monk, gave me a book long time ago it is writen differentely for the translation

  • @iwanttoseeeverything

Please refer to your message inbox. There are many versions in english, I have typed another version for you by K Sri Dhammananda. Due to limitation for publishing the description, I have no choice but to use the one that I am currently using. :)

  • Thank you for posting this, this sutra was always the hardest for me to learn.

  • It is not all that easy to write the Pali version into English with the exact pronunciations. You have done a very painstaking, time consuming job. GREAT! May you get the blessings of the Noble Tripple-Gem!
