This is Al Reynolds' two camera format. He had a Cinerama
theatre in Houston and was able to work on this format when
his theatre was not open for business. Originally, the theatre
had a huge louvered screen. In the mid 1970s, they put in
another deeply curved (about 120 deegrees) that was a little
smaller. This screen was a solid screen but didn't seem
to have a cross reflection problem. Visit American Widescreen
Museum and read more. Marty Heart is VERY accurate.

This is NOT Cinerama. This is an approximation of Thrillerama, which used 2 cameras.
