@ChelseBrun yeah your right. Jesus said love god with all you are and love one another as he loves us. Everything is in that all the commandments fall in line with those two things

@number3nvrforget You've definately got one thing right! We are not the ones to say if someone goes to heaven or hell. God is. But He has provided a way for us to really KNOW if we're going to heaven. And He tells us how. He says that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved!" No matter what you've done. Just accept His love! He died to save you, He loves you, but you've gotta say "I do."

@CLessDLR who are we to say your going to hell or to call u a sinner. Ima sinner and i hope to make it to heaven. But we are the ones who decide whether we goto hell or heaven. The way we live our life determines where we end up. If u live life good and just be a good person im sure ul make it to heaven. Im not tellin u to believe in god or sayin ur bad for not. That choice is yours to make, we have said all we can God is right in front of u here and if u dnt want to try its ur choice

So anyway. From a standpoint of not being Christian whatsoever (not going to church, not reading the bible, etc), this is still a song that should relate to life in general. Assuming you look at it from the standpoint of "he's not just singing this song about God" (which he might be, I just heard this song randomly on the radio and looked it up). Call me a sinner and that I'm going straight to hell if you'd like, but it's still an awesome song ;D
Its sad because some people go through the motions of being saved, just to please their parents or friends. Also, when the person is saved, they get used to a routine and leave God out. When in reality, God should be the utmost first. And we should give everything to God, and we just have to give our all for Christ. :)

@Straw1berry3 : He's talking about "the motions" of doing all the "religious" stuff, even going to church, saying you're a "christian," whatever, but never really having a real relationship with God. Never really doing what matters most - accepting Jesus as your Lord, and, with His help, turning from your old ways and really "walking the walk" instead of just "talking the talk," (or, "going through the motions!") As my dad always said, "it's not a religion, it's a relationship!"
