I think you're confusing capitalism with mercantilism and corporatism.

Capitalism is based on the individual's sovereign authority over their own person and property.

Mercantilism is welfare for big business. Our military presence in the Middle East is an example of this, as our only reason for being over there is because big oil's too cheap to hire private security to protect their assets, and they occasionally need us to install a friendly dictator for them.

Corporatism is socialism with the pretense of private property, which is where we seem to be headed. The banning of smoking in private establishments is an example of this.

Huckabee is an awful choice because he still supports a endless unconstitutional war with iraq and "terrorist" which is costing a lot of lives and money that we don't have. How can you reduce debt when you want to continue spending billions of dollars in some war. also he does not mention the broken system of the federal reserve which is going to destroy the dollar and this country while a few politicians and bankers at the top benefit.
