The title is wrong.
The German ship Schleswig-Holstein did not bombard Danzig, because Danzig was a German city.
It bombarded the Polish occupants of Danzig . The Poles had been warned many times to remove their military from German soil. The Poles refused, and kept 2 Million Germans under Polish terror, including 400 000 Danzigers.
Germany liberated Danzig from Polish occupation. Germany was fully right to free their people from enemy rule.

@RobertBF2 learn some history. On 17th of September ZSSR attacked Poland from the East. The non aggression pact ended on 22 VI 1941 after Germans attacked ZSSR. Nothing new cuz zssr had non aggression pact with Poland extended on 5th of May 1934 till 1945, but on 17th they forgot about it and kicked our ass unfortunately. If you're able to count, count only on yourself .

@mp3hipnozy It isn't, it's a complete nonsense. Ever heard of Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact? "It was a non-aggression pact under which the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany each pledged to remain neutral in the event that either nation were attacked by a third party. It remained in effect until 22 June 1941, when Germany invaded the Soviet Union."
