  • Is their any way to have it work the other way?

If something is blocking the lazer it then turns on the led?

  • @kikaro11 yeah I guess it is possible, but you might use a transistor to do so

  • Is it possible to turn on one led if i shine, and turn on another led if i don't shine?

Do u know how i could do that?

  • @roger170892 I think it is possible. maybe you should use a transistor

  • @caiolagana i want to know how much could be the range of a laser? how far? thanks...

  • @hirampr21 maybe up to 20 meters...i haven't tested

  • i wouldn't say its a motion sensor, its more of a laser trip wire. a motion sensor would shine light through an entire room, receive all the reflected light, and if the reflection's frequency changes it triggers. kind of like a speed gun

  • it is great video !!! 5* :-)

  • @kikaro11 the beauty of this is that the light from the laser is what is powering the led. to have it work the other way around you would need some kind of energy storage device.

  • converting monochromatic photons to polychromatic photons. can you calculate the efficiency of this conversion?

  • Hi, do you think it would be possible that this design of blocking the laser to trigger the light to switch off could be used as the base model of a 'laser harp'? Could be a good project?:-)

  • @caiolagana hi i have a question what voltage is going to the photo resistor/led and is there a resistor if so wha voltage

    thanks

  • how did you make it to let the current pass if the light isn't shining???? shoudn't the diode let the current pass ONLY if the light is shiing??? plz answer

  • could use a noise maker instead of another LED?

  • So everyone working with IR motion sensors are adults, but when I search for DC motors only kids show up... why?

  • Thats A Simple Optocoupler

    But it's cool

  • thanks.

  • @caiolagana can use ldr for the same????????
