HDR Time Lapse, why didn't I think of that? Great job, thanks for evolving time lapse photography for us all.

Oh dear, you're a little bit ignorant on the subject of time lapse aren't you!
Video capture of clouds passing is nothing like the effect you get with time lapse. Time lapse is by far the best way to show the passing of time, hence why it is so widely used in TV programmes, especially documentaries.
You should get your information straight before you start telling people that their work isn't worth shit.

@BlueOceanBelow - there are 2 guys who have already done HDR video. Non-time lapse. They use a beam splitter...then use two video cameras...one under and one over exposure. You can find it on Youtube.

@sunyatta HDR and time lapse? I didn't even know it was possible. Imagine the possibilities. Thanks.

wow thats amazing!!! but this must have taken forever to do!!!

@sjk1983 Use photomatix pro to batch your HDR images :)
-
Wow! Nicely done. Looks like alot of work!

I can see this being implemented with 3 video cameras close together as well (at a distance from the subject). The three videos are taken, with their respective dynamic ranges, and combined later for real-time HDR instead of time lapse.

nice video. did you write a script for batch processing the hdr images? I want to do the same thing under linux, but I don't know much about writing scripts.
