Chris Dixon - Delacorte Magazine Lecture

Chris Dixon of New York Magazine speaks with Vicor Navasky. The art director discussed how art and text work together in magazine format. Prior to his tenure at New York, Dixon was art director of the multi-award winning Adbusters, where he was responsible for the re-design and conceptual development of the magazine. He has also worked at the New York Times Magazine as editorial designer and through his own firm, Studio Plural, whose projects have included creating a new international design identity for the United Nations, and developing a new in-flight magazine for Lan Airlines in Chile.
