Interbike 2009 - Bikerumor.com's coverage continues with a video interview with Niner Bikes co-founder Chris Sugai about their all new, 29er full carbon Air 9 hardtail mountain bike. Featuring an industry-first replaceable bottom bracket housing that lets you run BB30, BB90 or a standard threaded bottom bracket...or even as a single-speed...plus monocoque carbon construction and an optional tapered Niner carbon rigid fork!

  • @mrbisaya BB30 is shimano and scott

    but nobody use this!!

  • need one of those

  • @mrbisaya Yes but SRAM has BB 30 press fit which is their version of BB 30 and in my opinion better. No c clips to install and the frames don't need to be made to such tight tolerances for the bottom bracket like regular BB 30 needs to be. Also press fit is supposedly lighter than regular BB 30.

  • @slalomnorth

that's what who said? I don't get it what are you talking about? The bike or someone's girlfriend?JK hahaha

  • @phycomaticz

    better than Specialized anyday!

  • When I win the lottery I am going to buy a dozen of these Air Nine Carbon frames and set them up with custom bike builds =)

  • BB30 is Cannondale's, not SRAM

  • i saw one today... i touched it :) its was only $1800...

  • wow! No.1 on my wish list!!!

  • Wow, I want one.
