This is an amazingly small, amazingly bright weapon mounted tactical flashlight. The Streamlight TLR-3 is a compact LED light that you can mount on most guns but specifically designed with small compact or sub-compact handguns in mind. I use this with my full size Smith&Wesson M&P 9mm for home defense and it fits great! The light doesn't extend much past the front of the gun which reduces its exposure to lead build-up, muzzle blast shock and of course accidental bumps. At a fraction of the cost of Surefire lights and even other Streamlight models this TLR-3 is a mini power house with a lot of bang for your buck. Thank you Nutnfancy for the recommendation and BotachTactical.com for the great deal and fast service!

  • Nutnfancy says that the light rides forward during shooting. Do you have this problem when its tightened down?

  • @Mizzsekcnsweet Not at all. What he said was that without the appropriate "key" installed the light might ride forward. The "key" is a little piece of plastic that slips into the light to match the type of rail you have on your gun. Right "key" + right rail = perfect fit w/no slip.

  • is it water proof

  • @johnhamster111 It's waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. IPX7 rated.

  • can the Streamlight TLR-3 or any of the TLR-Seri go on a tri rail for a Mossberg 500 Cruiser ShotGun:D

  • @BenderBullet56 Not sure... I think the Streamlights are only designed to fit various picatinny rails. I would recommend contacting streamlight's customer service and asking them directly. I bet you'd have an immediate answer. They're a great company with fast service! Otherwise look at adding a Fenix L1D or P2D light with some sort of 1" scope ring mount/bracket.

  • I'm getting sik off ppl saying how good they are with out firing the gun with it on mine broke after about 50 rounds

  • Anyone own this light? Any issues? I've read several reviews where people said it broke along the bracket that attaches to the rail. (broke near the screw) some said it broke just tightening it, and others said it broke while firing. Wondering how common this is and if anyone has fired lots of rounds with no issues.

  • @Mizzsekcnsweet if your worried about the "finger tight" aspect, just keep a quarter in your gear bag, it works perfectly for wrenching the TLR series of lights on and off a rail. but don't take my word for it, give it try.

  • If someone needs a review to install a streamlight...then they need turkey slapped

  • I have one of these good stuff

  • I bought one, nice light light except the screw was really scratched up putting it on, did you have this problem? It kinda pissed me off...

  • great video. i have an m&p9 and am planning on getting a tlr-3 for my firearm as well.

  • I agree, sometimes the savings are to great to stay local. Local availability or selection is usually an issue around here. I have placed a few orders with botac and havent had any problems. Their order tracking isn't worthwhile, but if you can get past that, they can save a lot of money on certain products.
