This was my grade 12 computer science final project. This is real performance speed with a FOV radius of 10 tiles. If you want the source code and files email me.

Note: The level generated in the video has the 'room size' control set too high, so the level is big and blob-like. Cooler levels can be generated with different settings.

  • nah always meant to (and had some good ideas I believe) but don't quite have the follow through for a project like that. Some day hopefully. If anyone needs I did a lot of research in to algorithms involved in roguelike and tile-based games and can recommend some sources for path finding and field of view type stuff
